A plumber identified as Desmond Igbo, on Tuesday brought his wife before a customary court in Jikwoyi for allegedly giving birth to two children belonging to another man.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the petitioner, a resident within the jurisdiction of the court, made the allegation in a divorce petition he filed against his wife in court.
Narrating his ordeal, the complaint said that, “My wife is having extra-marital affairs. She confessed to me that only my second child was my biological child.
“She said that the other two were not my biological children.“I have been taking care of them for 13 years .This is heartbreaking, it is on this issue that I seek to divorce my wife.”
He told the customary court that currently, the relationship with his wife is devoid of love and understanding.
.The respondent, ( accused wife), who is a businesswoman, refuted all the claims made by her husband.
The presiding judge, Thelma Baba, advised the couple to find a way to reconcile the matter.
He adjourned the case for report of settlement and hearing.
