Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has commended the leadership of the party and concerned Nigerians for what he described as lending a voice against the coordinated, undue interference by the government of Bola Tinubu, in the affairs of opposition political parties, in an effort to obliterate their strength and establish a one-party system in Nigeria.

In a statement made available to the media, Chief Eze said efforts by President Tinubu to have a smooth sail in the 2027 election and return to power unchallenged will be strongly resisted by the sheer determination of Nigerians who have shown a deep sense of patriotism by standing up to reject alleged scheme by the President to foist himself on the country for a second term.

But, the APC Chief Commended Atiku, Obi, David Mark, Rt Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and the Nigerian citizens for the peaceful protest against alleged partisanship of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), whose leadership has continued to interpret pronouncements of courts in a manner deliberately skewed to service their relationship with the regime of desperados.

He also commended the Lagos Chapter of ADC for their ongoing protest against the system and urged the ADC leadership to sustain the protest to last a longer period of time in order that the message from Nigerians for a free and credible poll sinks into the leadership of of INEC.

“I suggest that this protest should not be a one or two days action but should be carried out on daily basis until Tinubu sees reasons to call himself to order. After all it was Tinubu who taught Nigerians this strategy and it helped to push PDP out of power and we will use it to rescue Nigeria from his devious hands,” Eze said.

Eze called on Nigerians to unite with the ADC in its mission to rescuing the nation from the APC government which he opined “brought unprecedented and untold hardship to all and sundry.”

Eze said: “Shamefully Tinubu is more concerned about how he will turn himself to Paul Biya of Cameron, perpetuating himself in power regardless of his zero impact in leadership who has reduced the country in all ratings.

“It is sad and unfortunate that Tinubu and his government could take us to this inglorious path after what we all sacrificed to bring APC to power.”

Eze to a moment to reference Nigeria’s A Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, for who describing the ADC-led protest as a means of bullying Tinubu, adding that he has deliberately disconnected himself from reality. “Such is a reaction of an irrational being who is a witness of the evil that this government has brought to us all but has refused to condemn it because the government favours him,” Eze stressed.

Eze urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their determination to bring an end to the present challenge.
