Fathia Williams Balogun, formerly known as Fathia Williams was born on February 1969 at Ukwara, Waterside Local Government Area of Delta State, ( in the South- South Nigeria)
The multi-talented Nollywood act comes from a polygamous family of nine siblings.
Education
Fathia Williams attended the Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive High School in Lagos State, where she obtained the West African School Certificate, WASC, and from there attended Kwara State Polytechnic where she obtained a diploma certificate.
Acting Career
She started her acting career as Fathia Balogun at an early age.
The beautiful actress starred, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years. And, particularly in 2008, she won the Africa movie Academy Award for the Most Outstanding Actress Indigenous and her movie Iranse Aje won the best indigenous film of the year.
On April 2014, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award, having emerged as best actress of the year alongside with Odunlade Adekola who emerged as best actor of the year.
She also won the Best Indigenous Language-Yoruba award for the work done in the film Iya Alalake at the 2015 Africa-Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards AMVCA.

Marriage Life
Fathia got married to Saheed Balogun in the early stage of her career and the union was blessed with three children before their marriage hit the rocks.
