Don’t let your children write with AI, add with calculators, or think with Google or ChatGPT.
When they use such tools regularly, they are not getting more intelligent. They are becoming more dependent on technology. You are feeding their addiction and making them zombies that can’t function without these devices.
If you want your children to be among the 1% of the 1% that control 90% of the world, let them use their intellect to write, wrack their brains to add, and use their memory to remember. It will make a difference. When you and others talk to them, you will notice depth.
And no matter how wealthy you are do not buy all manner of gizmos and gadgets for them. Buy them books and even pay them to read them. And don’t allow them to sit in front of a TV on a sofa, endlessly watching entertainment. Instead, limit their TV consumption and involve them in outdoor physical exercises and sports. And if you are African, teach them your language. Bilingual people are more intelligent and resilient.
The rest of the world is becoming lazier. Teach your children to become brainier and they will be the leaders of tomorrow that the lazier ones will work for.
