Tourism now merges with Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy.

The Federal Executive Council, FEC, presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has scrapped the Niger Delta Ministry, and the Ministry of Sports Development simultaneously.
In the place of the dissolved ministries, there will a Ministry of Regional Development to oversee all the Regional Development Commissions, such as the Niger Delta Development Commission, North West Development Commission, South West Development Commission, and the North East Development Commission. And the National Sports Commission will now assume the role of the Ministry of Sports.
The Federal Executive Council similarly announced the merger of the Ministry of Tourism with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy.
