I have had conversations with people on the prevalent issues in an economy as blessed as Nigeria, and such conversations have always ended in same breath; “What a dysfunctional country!

We are at a critical point in our country’s history and the current state of affairs aren’t palatable, so much that it is seems there is no hope out of the gloom.
For too long, we have pointed fingers of responsibilities to same set of outdated systems and individuals, hoping, praying, fasting, and crying out for change. While there certainly is a level of accountability to these set of people, we cannot continue to lament and hope. For how long will our breaths hold, voices ring and tears flow?

The truth is– the current state of dysfunctionality in our country can be attributed to a glaring lack of transformational and visionary leadership. These would definitely not go away by mere wishes, rather by intentional works. By investing in and unlocking the tapestry of our creativity, passions and potentials as youth, we can take the reins, drive innovations and create real change.
