Government can be seen as an abstract noun, but it is also a body that serves its citizens,
especially in a democratic context.
Government implies a body that stands in the gap on behalf of its citizens and provides their basic necessities, such as good roads, quality

Governments in West Africa face accountability challenges that have contributed to the

problems, such as mismanagement of budgets and other challenges.
Solutions to Accountability Issues
To address the problem of accountability, governments must maintain a p

As Barack Obama stated, “Government is not the answer to our problem; government is
the problem. But we must hold our government accountable to the people.”
