Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday flew from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu-Ilishan, to Abuja aboard a ValueJet flight, further demonstrating the full operational readiness of the world-class facility.
The Governor described the experience as a proud moment for the state, noting that the airport continues to stand as a catalyst for commerce, connectivity, and industrial development. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining the momentum of infrastructural growth and positioning Ogun as a modern, globally competitive state.
The Gateway International Airport, on Tuesday debut its commercial flight take-off, as a Value Jet airplane conveyed passengers from the airport to Abuja.
The first flight took off at 10.02 a.m, in the presence of the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, and other government officials.
