The Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mrs Zubaida Umar has extended warm Eid-il-Kabir greetings to all Muslim faithful across the country on behalf of her organization.
In a statement tagged Eid-il-Kabir: Compassion First, the NEMA DG noted that this year’s festival is a call to sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness mirrors our mandate to save lives, reduce suffering, and support communities in times of need.
“As we celebrate, let’s carry this spirit forward by looking out for the vulnerable and strengthening one another.
“May Allah accept our sacrifices and continue to bless our nation with peace, safety and prosperity.
“Eid Mubarak,” she stated.
