The body, Centre for Integrated Health Programmes originated from the Multi-Country Columbia Antiretroviral Program of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, New York as a leading not-for-profit non-governmental organisation.

The Centre for Integrated Health Programmes Nigeria has appointed a new chairman Lolu Akinwunmi as its chairman.

The appointment was made by the group’s Board of Directors recently.

Akinwunmi takes over the reigns from Muhammed Yahaya following his retirement, having served the organization actively for years.

The body, Centre for Integrated Health Programmes originated from the Multi-Country Columbia Antiretroviral Program of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, New York as a leading not-for-profit non-governmental organisation.

 
The body focuses on  promotion of better health outcomes for all Nigerians through the creation of sustainable systems and partnerships.


The new appointee, Akinwunmi is the founding Group Chief Executive Officer of the Prima Garnet Africa Group and he is on the Boards of other organisations.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors of CIHP has  commended Yahaya for his numerous contributions as a former chairman.

The Board expressed confidence that the new NGO chairman, Akinwunmi would bring his marketing prowess to bear in running the organisation.
