One of the nation’s foremost titled monarch, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi on his 10th coronation anniversary.
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, where the Alaafin said, he, on behalf of other Yoruba traditional rulers, indigenes of Oyo Kingdom, facilitated with the government and the people of Osun state in celebrating the Ooni.
He commended Oba Adeyeye for being committed and demonstrating resilience in his rulership.
The Alaafin stated that Ooni’s exposure, knowledge, and charisma prior to ascending the throne have been critical in broadening the influence of the domain.
He acknowledged Ooni’s strength of character and formidable traits demonstrated by his wisdom, warmth, and friendliness as key factors that shaped the pervasive peace and civility his domain.
Oba Owoade expressed the wish that God will continue to bless the Ooni of and grant him more years of fruitful reign.
