Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has congratulated the immediate past governor of the state, Yahaya Bello, on his 49th birthday celebration, eulogizing the latter as a quintessential leader.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday by the Special Adviser on Media to the state governor, Ismail lsah, Ododo’ message of felicitations acknowledged former governor Yahaya Bello as a quintessential leader of men and women, who helped the less privileged and ed the state to a prosperous pedestal during his eight years stewardship in the state.
Ododo saluted the former governor for the transformation of the state into an enviable height upon which the current administration is consolidating to sustain his legacies.
The message reads: “On the occasion of the 49th birthday of my leader and mentor, I am filled with gratitude for the courage you exemplified, the sacrifices you made for us to be where we are today and the legacies you bequeathed on our state and our people.
“I wish you many more years in good health and prosperity as you will be surrounded by your children and the children of many people whose lives you have transformed as you celebrate the anniversary of your birthday,” Ododo said.
Governor Ododo wished his predecessor God’s protection and a fulfilled life out of office.
