Officials of the Lagos State Government have arrested a birthday celebrant, musician and vendor for allegedly obstructing traffic and creating environmental nuisance.
The suspects were arrested for blocking Raymond Njoku Road in Ikoyi during a birthday celebration.
The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on Monday in a post on his X handle.
The suspects are: Omolara Ajetumobi, Event Planner; Ogundare Olubunmi, Celebrant; Ayodele Busuyi, Musician; Owoeye Adedayo, Sound Engineer and Akinola Akinkunmi, who is the vendor.
“The Lagos State Government reiterates that no one is above the law and will not be permitted to disregard State regulations,” he posted.
