Dr. Akpan has successfully completed a 150-hour lecture marathon, setting a new world record and surpassing the previous milestone set in 2014. The achievement for the longest marathon lecture comes after days of non-stop lecturing, showcasing his resilience and dedication to education.
The Pinnacle Times reports that the Nigerian professor, who began the lecture marathon earlier this week, surpassed the previous record of 139 hours, 52 minutes, and 42 seconds by Indian professor Arvind Mishra.

With this feat, Dr. Akpan has not only secured his place in the record books (Guinness World Records) but also brought international attention to his commitment in the academia.
