Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, alias Burna Boy just purchased for himself a new multi-million dollar Bugatti Chiron.

A Dubai-based luxury car customisation shop, also known as Venuum Black, had announced the creation of a bespoke carbon fiber widebody kit for the project.

The project marks both the first Bugatti Chiron in Nigeria and what Venuum claims to be the world’s first Widebody Bugatti Chiron.

The custom shop made the announcement in a post on its Instagram page, including a video of Burna Boy with members of the Venuum team.

The post read: “VENUUM is officially creating the world’s first Widebody for the Bugatti Chiron. A one-of-one project built for someone very special to us, a member of the VENUUM family who is achieving massive success worldwide — @burnaboygram.

“This is not just a car. This is a fully bespoke vision, designed from scratch to push the Bugatti Chiron into a completely different dimension.”

“In just a few weeks, the world will finally see the result. And honestly… it’s going to be absolutely brutal. Something never seen before.

“We are proud to be part of such an iconic project and even more proud to create it for someone we truly appreciate. Stay tuned… because 2026 is coming with huge surprises.”

The Grammy Award-winning superstar had earlier shared a teaser about the car in a post on his Instagram page, saying, “I want a Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something one of one, diamonds on the car and the key holder”.

But an interesting twist has played out, following the controversy that trailed car price. An Abuja-based auto dealer, @abujacar, had initially claimed in a post on X that the Borna Boy’s customised Bugatti was worth ₦2 billion,he later backtracked to state that the treasured car is worth ₦9 billion. He failed to explain the sudden change in the car price the second time.

A check online reveals that Bugatti Chirons typically sell for between $3.5 million and more than $5 million, depending on the model, rarity, and level of customization.

No video nor images has emerged yet showing where either Burna Boy or Venuum taking delivery of the car.

Reports say the Widebody Bugatti Chiron is the latest hypercar in Burna Boy’s impressive garage, sitting alongside other exotic cars like his Lamborghini Revuelto and Rolls-Royce Spectre.

By the humongous price of the car currently made it the most expensive car in West Africa.

Speaking about the development, the Rivers state born Afrobeat singer responded to online critics by saying while headlining AfroNation Portugal on July 3, 2026, “I buy Bugatti, dem ask which road I go drive am? No be today we dey do road like Julius Berger.”
