For the past one week posts and picture of tv show lady Oprah Winfrey and her husband has been online. The couple are celebrating over 30 years of marriage.

A fortnight ago, the news was about billionaire oil businesswoman ,Folurunsho Alakija who divorced her husband of over 30years

Let me not bore you with the Alakijas. My focus is on the two lady icons who are invariably trumpeters of equality in marriage. Both Oprah and Chimamandah are feminists by their postures, especially anytime they appear and speak in public.

In the year 2009, Chimamandah got married to Ivara Esege. The marriage is over 15 years now. The same goes for Oprah.

The phoney part of this so called Feminists is that they kept their marriage out of the public glare. Inshort, me was surprised to even hear that Oprah was married. How clever she is to keep her love life out of the TV screen.

Oprah through her TV and magazine programmes has been championing women rights. She believes that both the man and woman are equal and that women deserve a much higher placement in the society. I have listened to her programmes and have seen how she takes malefolks to the cleaners.

Some few years ago, Chimamandah took a chieftaincy title in her native land Anambra. At the occasion, she lambasted men for not giving the women a chance. In her view, women are supposed to be given superior treatment because of who they are.

I love fairness, equitability and balance , but what I don’t like about the brand of feminism being bandied by these women is that it smacks of pretence. For me, a feminist supposed not to be under control and head ship of a man. Feminism should be a calling, a kind of special assignment they need to pursue and account to God in heaven.

These two ladies are models and I believe they are being looked up onto by many women who see them as not only champions, but perfect examples of what a woman should be. If you read this last syntax of my sentence then you will understand that they ” should be perfect of what a woman should be “to a man- quiet, gentle, not freaky and noisome. I bet you that is the best kind of feminism.

I pity those their clout chasers and followers who will follow them through and destroy their marriages. Oprah and Chimamandah knows what society wants and they play it in the open and do otherwise in their closet.

Any woman who takes their talk hook line and sinker is” OYO”. No man wants a celebrity wife- I mean the lousy type, who come into the media and shout OCHO BEY! WOMEN OCHO OCHO! And when they get home behave like the legendary pussy cat.

How I wish our ladies will learn from these two models that marriage is key for stabilisation and that a quiet homefront is what insures a stable couple and companionship. Selah!
