A Kano State High Court has ordered the Commissioner of Police to evict the embattled Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.
By the order, we gathered that the police are to take over the palace of the 15th Emir of Kano. At the same time, the court stopped Bayero and four others from parading themselves as Emirs. They include, Nasiru Ado Bayero (Emir of Bichi), Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II (Emir of Karaye), Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa ( Emir of Rano) and Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya (Emir of Gaya).
The state High Court court order was consequent on an ex-parte motion filed by the counsel to the applicant, Ibrahim Isa Wangida Esq before the court presided over by Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu.
