Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has created theatrics around the circumstances of the controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi following the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Adeyanju said Gumi, whom he described as a terrorist sympathizer, is crying.

Khamenei was killed on Saturday following a large-scale air assault operation in the heart of Tehran, jointly carried out by Israel and the United States.

Sheik Gumi had in reaction to the global development described the deceased Iran’s Supreme leader as “a lucky soul” who “died in jihad, against killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere.”

Gumi said that Khamenei’s blood “will fuel the change in the ummah,” noting that the Iranian leader stood firmly for justice and didn’t hide in bunkers.

Adeyanju acted swiftly by posting on in X to counter Gumi’s reaction saying,  “Gumi and other terrorist sympathizers in Nigeria are crying, the demon of Iran is gone.

He went further, as if to demystify Iran posture before the current showdown between the country and Israel-America opposition by asking questions:

“Iran makes too much noise for such a weak and defenseless country. Why is their airspace so weak like this? US announced it will attack Iran and still they couldn’t stop all these explosions.

“Why was it so easy for US and Israel to kill the demon of Iran? And why do Israel and US have easy access to Iranian airspace to be attacking them at will after all the noise Iran makes all the time?”

Adeyanju’s post has in turn sparked intense social media reactions.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force, under the command of the new Inspector-General has mandated commissioners of Police nationwide to beef up security against likely sympathy demonstration over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah.

Recall that torrents of air strikes from the joint operation by the US and the state of Israel had resulted in the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah, his daughter and son-in-law, apart from other top members of his rulership.
