Amidst the crisis rocking the Kano Emirate over the right candidate for the position, the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has recognized Muhammadu Sanusi II and identified with him as the 16th Emir of Kano.
As a mark of recognition, the NBA went ahead to invite Sanusi to its ongoing annual conference in Kano State.
Similarly, all the district heads across the 44 local government areas of the state, including council chairmen, commissioners and other supporters recognized him as the suitable monarch.
the bar association officially invited Emir Sanusi to also give his royal blessing and address the participants.

But the matter between Sanusi and Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero would have been heard in court on Monday, but for the strike action by organised Labour unions.
