Seventeen secretaries from the Federal University of Technology, Akure ,FUTA, have raised the institution’s profile by earning the prestigious Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria, CIPSSON, during its annual conference in Benin City, Edo State.
Led by Mrs. Bunmi Ajayi, the President of FUTA’s CIPSSON chapter, the newly decorated Fellows were presented to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji. Mrs. Ajayi, in her remarks, emphasized the impact of the Fellowship, stating that it positions the recipients to contribute significantly to FUTA’s administrative efficiency.
Professor Oladiji commended the secretaries for their hard work and dedication, describing their achievement as a boost for FUTA’s workforce. She noted that the Fellowship is a testament to their professionalism and commitment to excellence, further urging them to leverage this honor to enhance leadership within the university’s administrative system.
The Fellows, in turn, expressed their gratitude, pledging to uphold the values of CIPSSON while helping to elevate FUTA’s administrative operations. Professor Oladiji reaffirmed her commitment to supporting continuous professional development across all departments within the university.
The newly conferred Fellows include: Ajayi Bunmi Elizabeth, Imoru Ruth Mofoluwaso, Akinnagbe Oluyinka Abolore, Ogunmakinde Janet Lade, Akinmoladun Oluwakemi Amoke, Akintokunbo Dupeore Tomi, Ariyo Patience Foluke, Oladeji Catherine Bosede, Israel-Omolayo Abigail Olukemi, Oladeji Oludunsin Comfort, Johnson Helen Olabisi Durotola, Aremu Folasade Motunrayo, Kuboye Olajumoke Yetunde, Adejuyigbe Olubunmi Adenike, Akanni Folakemi Oluwatoyin, Babalola Toluwase, and Bobola Grace Kehinde.
