Dr. Akpan began his journey on September 20 and has already garnered significant attention for his endurance and commitment to education. Earlier, The Pinnacle Times confirmed the reports that crossed the 100-hour mark, inching closer to the world record held by Indian professor Arvin Mishra, who lectured for 139 hours, 52 minutes, and 42 seconds in 2014.
An adventure undertaken under the theme, ‘Relationships between Man’s Environment and Health,’ Dr. Akpan’s objective, among others, was to engage students in critical discussions on health issues. But his focus in recent hours has been on mental health, where he emphasized a strong connection between environmental factors and individual well-being.
“The mental health of a man is shaped by many factors, especially his environmental and spiritual well-being. The environment in which one lives and works has a direct impact on health,” he explained during his lecture.
