In a move that demonstrates a significant moral support and solidarity for the re-election bid of Honourable Christopher Maikalangu, the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, stakeholders under the aegis of Hausa-Fulani Kabusa Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have endorsed his second term, even as they expressed confidence in his leadership capabilities to continue to deliver the devidends of democracy to the people.
The endorsement is a significant boost to Maikalangu’s campaign and a testament to the fact that key stakeholders within the party are rallying behind him.
The stakeholders’ solidarity for Maikalangu’s re-election was conveyed through his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hon. Samuel Nggada who represented him at the event.
The group noted that their resolve was anchored on the AMAC chairman’s impressive score cards and commitment to the community, especially in the areas of overseeing various development and infrastructure aimed at improving the people’s wellbeing.
Apart from the group, The Pinnacle Times also gathered that the rousing solidarity being enjoyed by the AMAC Chairman towards his re-election also poured in through other loyalists, including a group led by Comrade David Afaga Media, Abuja Bloodline, a non- indigenous political group in Lugbe, among others.
On his part, Comrade David Afaga commended hon. Maikalangu’s transformative initiatives, resulting in positive impact in the community
” I wholeheartedly support his candidacy for a second term , as I believe he is the right leader to take us forward, ” he said.
This publication also reports that, recently the AMAC Chairman bagged an award for Inclusive Political Leadership by a non- indigenous political group.
