The Minister-in-Charge, (MIC), Rhema Chapel International Churches Abuja, Pastor Gbenga Gbadeyan has emphasized the prophetic implications of the word heralding the 30th Anniversary of the Church, stating that the event signifies a new season for the installation.
Ministering on the topic, New Heights, the prophetic word accompanying the celebration of the churches’ three decades existence in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Pst. Gbadeyan commenced his message by noting that God is a God of new heights, from Genesis to Revelation.
Quoting from the book of Genesis 1:26-28, the M.I.C stated that God by nature is progressive, moving from one level to the other.
He urged the congregants to remain focused on God, through deeper fellowship with him as Rhema Chapel attains a year of significant maturity.
Pst. Gbadeyan declared, “Untill you have become very great, you are not there yet. If you are a billionaire, you can become a multi-billionaire.
“A new level and new heights is what God has designed for us…. from faith to faith.
“New heights is of God, stagnation is of the devil.”
And, throwing light on the word New Heights, the M.I.C, Rhema Chapel Abuja said that it is about breaking records, going beyond limits and flying above.
However, to gain a new height, he emphasized that this require sacrifice on the part of any individual.
According to him, new heights is a move of God that cannot be challenged, adding that Christians should believe God by living by faith in him.
While calling on the congregants to have high expectations, he said that children of God should refrain from looking down on themselves, because of the potentials they carried.
The man of God declared to the congregation, “You will flourish, as long as you are planted. It is a covenant.”
But, he decried politics in the church setting which he observed only allowed the flesh to take over
He described pride as whatever an individual does and thinks another would not be able to take over.
He rounded up his message by enumerating the requirements of new heights to include relationship with God and sacrifice that goes with a prize, among others
