Officers of the 22 quick response team of The Nigerian Airforce, NAF, in Nasarawa state have confiscated cannibals sativa, locally known as India hemp and arrested a 32-year- old suspect identified as Yusuf Ibrahim.
The suspect was caught with 80 bags of Indian hemp while intercepted along the Shabu area of Lafia North Development Area of the state.
Our investigations revealed that the arrest was made during a patrol mission intended to rid the state of criminal elements.
A security source revealed that the Ibrahim attempted to flee, he was apprehended by personnel of the Nigerian Airforce, while the driver and other accomplices bolted away.

The suspect on being captured later confessed that hw was transporting the illicit drugs on behalf of an individual named Moses Essien, resident in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The Pinnacle Times gathered that The Nigerian Airforce has however handed the suspect over to the police for further investigations and possible prosecution by the Nigeria Drug and Law Enforcement Agency, Nasarawa State Command.
