A report has it that the newly premiered movie ‘Lakatabu,’ produced by Nollywood star ( of the Yoruba genre),
Odunlade Adekola has raked in more than N47 million in less than 72 hours, making the new releases a hit.

The Pinnacle Times followed the trend where the popular Yoruba actor shared the good news on his Instagram page.

In the shared content, the producer referred to the popular phrase in the movie Lakatabu that, ‘Power Pass Power.’

By assessment in some quarters,
Lakatabu is rated at the leading movie in all cinemas so far in the month of June.

The netizens have congratulated Odunlade Adekola for the feat achieved withing the shortest time of releasing at its box office opening weekend.

One of Adekola’s fans hailed the movie by saying, “Lakatabu the Monster is leading the troop in the cinemas.
“Bagging a whooping sum of 47million.

“Nigerians are not backing down on this Nollywood masterpiece. Let’s keep this energy going.”

Another fan, Adejeth wrote: “Glory be to God, God will perfect what he has started!

“All the reviews about Lakatabu is as sweet as the movie itself, kudos to @odunomoadekola”

Barney Queen wrote: “I won’t lie the film is interesting and funny,” and many more encouraging words for the producer.
