Senegal  football team spun surprise, beating Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON,  final on Sunday as Pape Gueye’s goal resulted in a 1-0 extra-time win in a game punctuated by snafu  following a controversial penalty award.

Hordes of Senegal players besieged the football pitch in disgust as violence took place among their supporters after Morocco were given a spot-kick during injury time at the end of scheduled match time.

It was all excitement the moment Pape Gueye scored the only goal of the final against Morocco in extra time on Sunday, as history was recorded with the Africa Cup of Nations trophy returning to Senegal four years after their first victory.
