Says Association of failed politicians cant stop PBAT re-election in 2027…

By Olawale Lamina

A member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Aare Hon. Tolu Bankole, has refuted claims in some quarters that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is plotting to enthrone one-party state in the country,, stating that rather PBAT remains committed to democratic values and inclusive governance.

Hon. Bankole, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, noted that opposition concerns about Nigeria slipping into a one-party state as insinuated, is nothing but “deliberate distractions from jittery politicians.”

“The idea of a one-party state is neither in the character nor agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

““President Tinubu is a democrat to the core, who believes in the strength of a vibrant, issue-based opposition that deepens democracy and holds government accountable. His vision is for a pluralistic political space where every voice can be heard, and every citizen has a role to play,” he said.

He dismissed recent criticisms from opposition parties, saying that, “This current association of failed politicians called opposition cannot stop PBAT’s re-election in 2027. They are intimidated by his growing acceptability across regions.”

Hon Bankole reaffirmed that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s  administration, built on the Renewed Hope Agenda, has made steady progress in areas such as economic reform, national security, education, and healthcare, adding that President Tinubu is “a deep thinker and a reliable partner,” with proven intelligence in political engineering and governance.

“Nigeria and Nigerians are safe with PBAT,” Bankole said., noting further that, “We are not there yet, but we are surely on the right path. Those waiting for APC to implode should go and sleep, we have the strategy and the magic to keep the house united.”

He said that the Ruling APC is truly national and inclusive with capacity to accommodate every Nigerian.

He encouraged  more Nigerians to join the party, even as he welcomed and commended new entrants into the ruling party,, promising that, “A greater and better Nigeria is sure with PBAT.”
